Mamy Wata Rum

Description: Inspired by the legend of the river mermaid, a temptress who guards the waterways from southern Africa to the Caribbean and protects the rivers from those with harmful intentions. This blend of southern African and Jamaican pot still rums gives Mamy Wata its aromatic and floral notes making it perfect for Daiquiris and Mojitos or served simply with your favourite mixer.

40% ABV. 70cl.

Tasting notes: Bright tropical fruits on the nose, leading to a citrusy body with hints of white pepper and ending with a long smooth finish.

Socially Spirited recommends: Mamy Wata Daiquiri. Shake 50ml of Mamy Wata Rum, 25ml of freshly-squeezed lime juice and 15ml of sugar syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker then strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lime twist or dehydrated lime wheel.
